Larkin Expands Trade List, but No Deal Is Imminent

Detroit Red Wings center Dylan Larkin requested a trade after last season and has expanded his preferred destinations from three teams to at least 10, including Washington, Dallas, Carolina, Utah, Tampa Bay, New Jersey and Colorado. He has a full no-trade clause through the 2027-28 season. The Red Wings stripped him of the captaincy, but he has returned from injury and remains a key player, with a goal and four assists in seven games. Washington could be among the teams interested, while other contenders may also pursue him. Detroit is seeking suitable value, and no trade is imminent.
