Utah Tackle Suspended After Arrest on Intimate Image Counts

Utah defensive tackle Jamal Wallace was suspended indefinitely after his Oct. 11 arrest in connection with allegations that he sexually assaulted a woman he had been dating, recorded the encounter on her phone and shared videos with five people. Police records describe five misdemeanor counts related to distributing intimate images; the alleged sexual assault itself had not resulted in a formal charge as of Oct. 21. Wallace denied the assault and the image distribution to police, according to court documents, and was released on $5,000 bail. Utah said it acted immediately upon learning of the situation and declined further comment because the matter is pending.
