Fever President Krauskopf Plans Exit After 2026 Season

Indiana Fever president Kelly Krauskopf is stepping down after nearly three decades with the organization, a decision she shared with leadership before the end of the 2026 regular season. She helped launch the franchise, served as its original general manager and built the team that won the 2012 WNBA championship; after a stint as an Indiana Pacers executive, she returned to lead the Fever. Owner Herb Simon credited her with shaping the franchise and advancing women’s basketball in Indianapolis, while the team has not announced a successor. The leadership change comes as Indiana faces important roster decisions, including the potential re-signing of Kelsey Mitchell and a contract extension for Caitlin Clark, and prepares to open a new performance center.
