Bournemouth Beat Manchester United 3-0 at Old Trafford

Bournemouth beat Manchester United 3-0 at Old Trafford, with goals from Rayan, Marcus Tavernier and Evanilson despite United having more possession and shots. Harry Maguire called United’s performance unacceptable, citing an early set-piece concession and an error on the second goal, and said the players had to take responsibility. Bruno Fernandes stayed on the bench after reportedly criticizing Michael Carrick following the midweek loss to Como; Jamie Carragher said Carrick may have intended to embarrass him. The defeat increased pressure on Carrick, although some supporters backed him, while critics also blamed the club’s leadership and recruitment for the team’s wider problems.
