Smart Misses Second Straight Game, Could Return Wednesday

Houston guard Marcus Smart missed Monday’s game against Atlanta for a second straight contest because of a left forearm strain, but coach Ime Udoka said he could return Wednesday against Milwaukee. Center Steven Adams will be sidelined for at least another week after imaging confirmed he aggravated a right soleus strain. Clint Capela is expected to get the first opportunity as backup center, with Jabari Smith Jr. potentially filling the role in small-ball lineups. Reed Sheppard is expected to take on a larger backcourt role.
