Rays lead on Hicks homer before Milwaukee rallies to win Game 2

Liam Hicks hit a 411-foot, two-run homer in the first inning of World Series Game 2, giving Tampa Bay a 4-0 lead after earlier run-scoring hits by Chandler Simpson and Junior Caminero. It was Hicks’s first postseason home run and made him the fourth Canadian-born player to homer in a World Series; he had also driven in both Rays runs in their Game 1 loss. Milwaukee rallied to win Game 2, with Tampa Bay starter Drew Rasmussen surrendering runs in the first and third innings and defensive miscues contributing to the damage. The Rays were left needing to recover in the series, while Rasmussen could start again in Game 5 or 6.
