Former Arizona, Gonzaga Players Set for New Teams

Arizona lost nine players to other Division I programs, including a former Wildcat center now at Northern Arizona, Tobe Aristode at Oregon and Filip Borovicanin at New Mexico. Gonzaga has 12 former players on NBA opening-day rosters, while five others, including Jalen Warley and Tyon Grant-Foster, will begin the season in the G League. Ten former Bulldogs are continuing their college careers elsewhere, including at High Point, San Francisco, Pacific and Arizona State. Gonzaga enters the season with 11 newcomers and four returners and will open against Purdue after a 76-72 exhibition loss to Arkansas. Davis Fogle’s fitness, the team’s three-point shooting and Chauncey Wiggins’ eligibility are among the questions facing the Bulldogs.
