5-2 Minnesota Prepares for No. 4 Indiana After Upset Wins

Minnesota’s football program is drawing attention on both the recruiting trail and the field. Hill-Murray tight end Brady Reeves, a highly recruited prospect whose father once coached for the Gophers, attended Minnesota’s rivalry win over Iowa and already holds nearly 20 offers, including one from the Gophers. A separate roundup highlighted strong recent performances by Minnesota’s 2027 commits, led by defensive prospect Cameron Saunders, who recorded 15 tackles, 3.5 tackles for loss and 2.5 sacks. The Gophers are also preparing to face No. 4 Indiana; Minnesota enters the matchup at 5-2 after notable wins over Iowa, Michigan and Washington, though inconsistent offense and losses to Purdue and Mississippi State remain concerns.
