Haliburton Expected to Miss at Least Two Weeks
Indiana Pacers star Tyrese Haliburton has a mild left hamstring strain and is expected to miss at least two weeks, including Wednesday’s game against Philadelphia. Coach Rick Carlisle said Haliburton is week-to-week and is not expected to play before then; the team consulted a hamstring specialist and plans to reassess him in two weeks. The injury came four games into Haliburton’s return after a torn right Achilles sidelined him for the entire previous season. He averaged 21.8 points and 9.5 assists in those four games. Andrew Nembhard is likely to take on more point-guard responsibility as Indiana manages injuries to other key players.
