Thunder Injuries Could Sideline Wallace, Williams
Oklahoma City Thunder guard Cason Wallace tore the labrum in his left shoulder, and forward Jalen Williams fractured his left fibula and dislocated his ankle during Sunday’s 108-101 win over the Clippers. Both players will undergo surgery, after which the team expects to provide clearer return timelines. Wallace is reportedly facing a five-to-six-month recovery, and both players could miss the rest of the season. The injuries are a major blow to the defending champions’ depth, with reserves including Alex Caruso, Jared McCain and Ajay Mitchell expected to take on larger roles.
