Caruso Exits Thunder Game With Ankle Sprain

Oklahoma City’s injury-hit lineup was further weakened Monday against Phoenix when Alex Caruso left with a right ankle sprain and was ruled out. Jalen Williams and Cason Wallace are expected to miss most or all of the remainder of the season, while Chet Holmgren sat out with a knee issue. Ajay Mitchell, Jared McCain and Kenrich Williams started in their place, with Mitchell scoring 18 points in the first half as the Thunder led 67-53 at halftime. Nikola Topic remained sidelined, according to a correction to Oklahoma City’s injury report.
