No. 9 Prospect Reese Alston Commits to LSU

Five-star point guard Reese Alston, the No. 9 prospect in the 2027 class and son of former NBA player Rafer Alston, committed to LSU after considering Louisville, Kentucky, Tennessee and Wichita State. He joins King Gibson and Ahmad Hudson in LSU’s basketball recruiting class, which ranks No. 2 nationally, and is the first five-star high school recruit Will Wade has landed since returning to the program. His commitment also signals a greater emphasis on building LSU’s future roster through high school recruiting.
