Raiders Activate Thornton Amid Trade Questions
The Las Vegas Raiders activated wide receiver Dont’e Thornton from injured reserve, preserving his season and adding a potential option to an offense seeking reliable production during a four-game losing streak. Thornton, a 2025 fourth-round pick, had 10 catches for 135 yards in 15 games as a rookie before a hamstring injury sidelined him. To make room on the 53-man roster, Las Vegas waived defensive tackle Jonah Laulu, whom the Tennessee Titans subsequently claimed; Laulu recorded 91 tackles and 5.5 sacks in 39 games with the Raiders. The Raiders started 3-0 and now face questions about their direction ahead of the Nov. 10 trade deadline, with Kirk Cousins reportedly drawing trade interest. A separate report also named Maxx Crosby as a possible trade candidate, though any deal would follow a failed trade and his return to Las Vegas.
