Chiefs, Steelers, Commanders Linked to Brian Thomas Jr.

With the Nov. 10 NFL trade deadline approaching, the Chiefs, Steelers and Commanders are reportedly interested in Jaguars receiver Brian Thomas Jr., whose production has dropped sharply after a standout rookie season. Kansas City’s depleted receiving corps and Pittsburgh’s need for offensive help have fueled speculation about upgrades, and the Steelers are also linked to Colts receiver Josh Downs. Indianapolis could seek a third-round pick for Downs, though one report says his expiring contract could lower the price; Washington reporter Chris Russell would consider a fourth- or fifth-round pick but not a third. The Chiefs could also pursue free-agent receivers Tyreek Hill, Darius Slayton, Deebo Samuel or DeAndre Hopkins instead of making a trade.
