Red Wings Recall Dries, Reassign Postava

The Detroit Red Wings recalled defenseman Jacob Bernard-Docker from Grand Rapids and assigned Axel Sandin-Pellikka to the AHL. The team also recalled center Sheldon Dries under emergency conditions to add forward depth amid absences, including Dylan Larkin’s departure from the team while he awaits a trade. Dries had been scoreless in six NHL games this season but recorded eight points in four games with Grand Rapids. Detroit reassigned goaltender Michal Postava after his strong NHL debut and shootout win over Edmonton; Daniil Tarasov was cleared to back up John Gibson, who was expected to return against Chicago.
