Ducks Reassign Nikita Klepov to Saginaw After Four NHL Games

The Anaheim Ducks have reassigned rookie forward Nikita Klepov to the OHL’s Saginaw Spirit after he appeared in four NHL games without recording a point. The 18-year-old had made the Ducks’ opening-night roster, but returning to junior before playing 10 NHL games means the first year of his entry-level contract will not count. Klepov is coming off a standout season with Saginaw, leading the OHL with 97 points in 67 games, and is expected to play a major role for the Spirit.
