UConn has agreed to a two-year contract extension with men’s basketball coach Dan Hurley, keeping him with the Huskies through the 2031–32 season. Financial terms have not been disclosed, but the deal is expected to keep him among college basketball’s highest-paid coaches. Hurley led UConn to national championships in 2023 and 2024 and a 2026 national title-game appearance, where the Huskies lost to Michigan. He has a 199–75 record in eight seasons at UConn and is leading the team in the 2026–27 season.
