Tottenham Extend Winning Run With Victory Over 10-Man Palace
Tottenham beat Crystal Palace 2-0, extending their Premier League winning run to three matches and strengthening signs of a revival under manager Roberto De Zerbi. Palace were reduced to 10 men in the 13th minute when Jean-Philippe Mateta was sent off. Archie Gray headed in Tottenham’s opener from a corner before Jan Paul van Hecke added a second from a cross. Spurs had 34 shots to Palace’s two, and the defeat increased pressure on Palace manager Pierre Sage amid the team’s poor start and defensive struggles. The win followed Tottenham’s victory at Chelsea and moved them closer to their targeted league positions.
