Colts Weigh Trades for Taylor and Downs

With the Nov. 10 NFL trade deadline approaching, the 6-2 Broncos say they are buyers and are among the teams linked to Colts running back Jonathan Taylor. Indianapolis, 2-6 after trading Quenton Nelson and DeForest Buckner, is reportedly weighing offers for Taylor and seeking value equivalent to a first-round pick; the Vikings, Giants and Packers are also interested. ESPN’s Adam Schefter expects Taylor to be moved, but no deal has been completed. The Colts are also reportedly seeking a third-round pick for receiver Josh Downs, who requested a trade, though a fourth-round return may be more realistic. If Taylor and Downs leave, rookie running back Seth McGowan and receiver Deion Burks could have larger roles.
