Bruins Host Golden Knights After Vegas Win

Tomas Hertl scored with less than a minute remaining to give the Vegas Golden Knights a late win over Pittsburgh before their scheduled visit to Boston on Monday. The Bruins, who entered at 10-4-1, rallied from a two-goal third-period deficit to beat Chicago 5-4 in overtime; coach Marco Sturm said they still needed to improve. A preview favored Boston at home, citing Jeremy Swayman’s strong home form and Vegas’ recent scoring struggles. In Stanley Cup futures, Edmonton and defending champion Carolina were tied at 12%, with Colorado also among the leading contenders.
