Saints Rookie Jordyn Tyson May Return Next Week

Saints rookie wide receiver Jordyn Tyson, the No. 8 overall pick in the 2026 NFL Draft, is nearing his NFL debut after missing the first seven games on injured reserve with a hamstring strain. ESPN’s Adam Schefter reported that Tyson could return as soon as New Orleans’ Week 9 game against Cleveland, though he is not guaranteed to play then. The Saints will need to designate and activate him before he can take the field. His return could bolster an offense that has leaned heavily on Chris Olave, as New Orleans seeks to improve on its 2-5 start and remain in the NFC South race.
