Jake Paul-Doumbé Set for Dubai Christmas Eve Fight

Jake Paul will return to boxing on Dec. 24 against former kickboxing champion and MMA fighter Cédric Doumbé in a professionally sanctioned eight-round cruiserweight bout at Dubai’s Coca-Cola Arena. The fight will be contested at 200 pounds with 10-ounce gloves and will be Paul’s first since Anthony Joshua broke his jaw and stopped him in the sixth round in December 2025. Paul, 12-2 as a professional boxer, says he is ready despite his injury and limited preparation. Doumbé is 1-0 in boxing, with a 75-7-1 kickboxing record and a 6-1 MMA record that includes six knockout wins. The fighters have traded taunts, and public press conferences are scheduled in Paris and Dubai.
