Michigan Awaits Injury Updates on Key Starters

Michigan starting right tackle Andrew Sprague has been ruled out for a seventh straight game, leaving the Wolverines’ already unsettled offensive line without him for Saturday’s rivalry game against Michigan State. Right guard Brady Norton is questionable after leaving the Rutgers game with a leg injury, while center Jake Guarnera is listed as probable; tight end Hogan Hansen is also questionable. Defensive ends Dom Nichols and John Henry Daley, along with safety Rod Moore, are among the other Michigan players listed as questionable, despite earlier hopes that the ends would return. Michigan State quarterback Alessio Milivojevic is also questionable. Separately, Mississippi State is managing further quarterback uncertainty ahead of its game against Vanderbilt: AJ Swann is recovering from an upper-body injury, and coach Jeff Lebby said all available quarterbacks took practice reps.
