The NFL and TMRW Sports have unveiled Premier Flag, a professional league for men and women scheduled to begin in summer 2027 in a U.S. host city yet to be announced. The league aims to give elite players a path to full-time careers, with coaching, training and other player support; team numbers and salary details are still being worked out. Its launch comes as flag football grows at youth, school and collegiate levels and prepares for its Olympic debut at the 2028 Los Angeles Games. The league plans to offer an early preview through a Premier Flag Showcase during Super Bowl LXI week.
