Bengals adjust Madrid routine for Falcons matchup
The Bengals will travel to Madrid on Tuesday for their Week 9 game against the Falcons, practicing at home before departure and holding sessions in Spain on Thursday and Friday. Coach Zac Taylor said the earlier trip, compared with Cincinnati’s 2019 London game, is intended to help players acclimate and be ready for Sunday. Cincinnati enters at 5-2 after three straight wins, including a 43-36 overtime victory over Tennessee, but is looking to avoid the slow starts that have forced it to overcome 13-point deficits in each of the past two games. Atlanta is 3-5, while quarterback Joe Burrow is coming off a five-touchdown, 462-yard passing performance against the Titans.
