Giants Agree to $46 Million Newsome Extension

The New York Giants have agreed to a three-year, $46 million extension with cornerback Greg Newsome II, including $32 million guaranteed, keeping him beyond the one-year, $8 million deal he signed this offseason. Newsome, 26, has made six appearances and recorded 25 tackles, one interception and six passes defended, helping stabilize the Giants’ secondary alongside Deonte Banks. Opposing quarterbacks have completed 16 of 29 passes targeting his coverage, with a 61.4 passer rating. Newsome was a first-round pick by Cleveland in 2021 and later played for Jacksonville before joining New York.
