Buccaneers to Assess Egbuka After Second Missed Practice With Foot Injury
Buccaneers wide receiver Emeka Egbuka did not practice Wednesday as he continues to deal with a foot injury, but he ran on a side field with a trainer. He has cleared concussion protocol and missed Tampa Bay’s past two games; the team will assess his progress Thursday, which could clarify whether he can play Sunday night against the Bears. If he remains out, Chris Godwin, Ted Hurst and Tez Johnson are among the receivers expected to take on larger roles.
