Suns host Blazers in rematch after 41-point opening loss

The Phoenix Suns are set to host the surging Portland Trail Blazers in a rematch after Portland routed them 124-83 on opening night. Portland has continued its strong start with road wins, including a win at Denver, while Phoenix has lost four of its first five games amid defensive and rebounding problems, inconsistent effort and costly late-game turnovers. The Suns hope to use a seven-game homestand to reset and play a more complete game. Injury reports named Shaedon Sharpe, Vit Krejci and Ja Morant. Portland’s next listed matchup is against the Lakers in NBA Cup group play; the Blazers beat Los Angeles 136-129 in their first meeting this season.
