Boise State pursues playoff path at Colorado State
Boise State takes a seven-game winning streak and an unbeaten 4-0 Pac-12 record to Colorado State, with a chance to strengthen its College Football Playoff bid and move closer to clinching a conference-title berth and home-field advantage. The Broncos are coming off a 46-45 comeback over Texas State, capped by backup quarterback Max Cutforth’s late touchdown pass; he is expected to start while Maddux Madsen recovers from a knee injury. Boise State coach Spencer Danielson has urged the team to maintain its intensity through the demanding final month of the season. Colorado State, 3-5 overall, has lost five of its last six games and is coming off a 31-14 defeat in which its offense managed only 263 yards.
