Kraft Expected to Miss Gronkowski Hall Induction

Patriots owner Robert Kraft, 85, is recovering from back surgery and will miss Rob Gronkowski’s Saturday induction into the team’s Hall of Fame after doctors advised him to stay off his feet. Kraft said he was deeply disappointed to miss the ceremony and joked about Gronkowski’s history of back surgeries. Kraft is also expected to miss the Patriots’ next two games, including Sunday’s game against Green Bay and the team’s trip to Munich to face Detroit. Gronkowski played nine seasons in New England, won three Super Bowls and holds the franchise record with 80 total touchdowns. Tom Brady is expected to attend the induction, and Gronkowski will also be celebrated during Sunday’s game against Green Bay.
