Stagwell Launches Media Agency Across 50 Markets
Stagwell is replacing its Assembly brand with Stagwell Media, a global agency built to unite media, commerce, data and technology under a more integrated operating model powered by its Machine OS platform. The agency builds on Assembly’s existing business and will operate in more than 50 markets with more than 2,300 employees, serving clients including Lenovo, DP World, Mastercard and P&G. Liz Rutgersson will lead globally, with regional leaders including Connie Chan in APAC and Alap Ghosh in India. Stagwell says the model is designed to help brands adapt to changing media and AI-driven discovery; Chan emphasized that future growth will depend on connecting media with customer experience and commerce, not on media efficiency alone. The rebrand’s practical test will be whether this integration reduces operational handoffs and improves client decision-making and results.
