Stenson, Tiziani Share Stifel Second-Round Lead

Mario Tiziani and Henrik Stenson share the 36-hole lead at 9-under 133 at the Stifel Charity Classic, the opening event of the Charles Schwab Cup Playoffs. Tiziani shot a bogey-free 63, matching his career low and setting a tournament second-round scoring record, while Stenson carded a career-best 64 on the Champions Tour. Both are seeking their first PGA Tour Champions victory; Shane Bertsch and Scott Parel are one stroke behind at 8 under. The result also carries playoff implications, with Stenson needing a strong finish to remain in contention for a place in next week’s event.
