245 Kent State Students Make Summer Dean’s List With National Honors

Twenty-three of 49 eligible Harry S. Truman High School students received College Board National Recognition honors for their grades and AP exam results. Across several Ohio colleges, 245 Kent State students made the Summer 2026 Dean’s List, including 20 also named to the President’s List; students from Medina and nearby communities also earned honors at Bowling Green State University and Southern New Hampshire University, while Valley City student Haiden Morrison was accepted into Albion College’s pre-health Wilson Institute. Isabella Holland, Sameeksha Nair and Amish Tripathi of Canton High School were named Commended Students in the 2027 National Merit Scholarship Program. Five Iowa City West High School seniors—Faizaan Ahmad, Erin Chen, Shannon Chen, Eyad El-Fadil and Kento Sugiyama—were named semifinalists for the 2027 Coca-Cola Scholars Program.
