The Phoenix Suns claimed forward Drew Timme off waivers after he was released by the Minnesota Timberwolves, reportedly filling the two-way roster spot opened by waiving Koby Brea and CJ Huntley. The 6-foot-9 former Gonzaga standout has also played for the Brooklyn Nets and Los Angeles Lakers, and has built much of his professional experience in the G League. His size and frontcourt depth could be useful to Phoenix, particularly with center Mark Williams expected to miss time.
