Suspects Arrested in South Carolina, Indiana Shootings

Evansville police arrested 17-year-old Ayden Simms on a preliminary murder charge in the Oct. 11 fatal shooting of 17-year-old James Brown, joining 18-year-old Keaton Howard, who was arrested earlier in connection with the case. Investigators say surveillance footage showed two people arriving and leaving in a Nissan registered to Simms, and authorities have described the shooting as connected to an ongoing feud between local groups known as “The Sev” and “The Three Fours.” The investigation is ongoing.
