Tallahassee Shooting Wounds 11; Teen Faces Adult Trial

A 15-year-old, Anthony Rivers III, will be tried as an adult in connection with a shooting after Florida A&M University’s homecoming game in Tallahassee that wounded 11 people; six victims were minors, and six people were hospitalized, including one in critical condition. Rivers faces 11 counts of attempted second-degree murder and a firearm charge and was ordered held in secure custody while the case proceeds. Police said the shooting followed a physical altercation among people who knew one another and that the victims did not appear to be intended targets; authorities said additional arrests are possible.
