Talon Private Wealth More Than Doubles Mortgage-Backed ETF Stake

Talon Private Wealth made significant changes to its ETF holdings during the second quarter, increasing positions in several Vanguard funds while adding exposure to a structured-buffer strategy. The firm more than doubled its stake in Vanguard Mortgage-Backed Securities ETF, raised its holdings in Vanguard Intermediate-Term Corporate Bond ETF by 21.5%, and increased its Vanguard Small-Cap Growth ETF position by 86.5%. Talon also established a new 1.06 million-share position in Innovator U.S. Equity Ultra Buffer ETF–June, valued at about $43.8 million and representing its second-largest holding. In contrast, it reduced its Innovator U.S. Equity Ultra Buffer ETF–January position by 25.5%, though the remaining 629,495 shares were worth about $28.5 million. The disclosures indicate a portfolio mix spanning mortgage-backed securities, corporate bonds, small-cap growth stocks and defined-outcome equity strategies.
