Colorado tax credit and agriculture scholarships open applications
Colorado is accepting applications from nonprofit scholarship-granting organizations seeking state approval to receive donations through a federal tax credit, which allows taxpayers to direct up to $1,700 of federal tax liability toward eligible organizations supporting student education and learning services. The Wisconsin Corn Foundation has opened scholarships for graduating high school seniors and current college or technical-school students with an interest in agriculture; applicants need not come from farming families, and the deadline is December 4, 2026. Wisconsin applicants can use a consolidated application to seek foundation and other National Corn Growers Association scholarships, including the Bob Oleson Award for outstanding agricultural leadership. Separately, the National Pork Producers Council is accepting applications for ten $2,500 scholarships for college students pursuing pork-industry careers.
