Teen sought in Asheboro 19-year-old’s killing

Bryan Arellano Ponce, 19, of Asheboro, was found shot inside a vehicle on Spinks Road and pronounced dead at the scene Monday evening. Randolph County deputies say 17-year-old Ka’Shaun Miguel Robinson is wanted on a murder warrant and should be considered armed and dangerous; earlier reports said investigators had identified a person of interest, and the case remains under investigation. Ponce’s family remembered him as a loving, upbeat young entrepreneur who was building a clothing and shoe resale business.
