Temple Clinches First Conference Tournament Berth Since 2018

Temple’s women’s soccer team beat Tulsa 3-0 to earn its first American Conference tournament berth since 2018 and set a program record with its 10th shutout of the season. In a separate football matchup against East Carolina, Temple was without starting defensive tackle Kevin Hornbeak and starting linebacker Eric Stuart, while veteran left tackle Giakoby Hills returned to the starting lineup after a season-opening injury. Both football teams entered the game looking to recover from recent losses and improve their conference standing.
