Tennessee earns first win since Sept. 11 in 3-1 victory over Oklahoma
Tennessee closed its regular season with a 3-1 home win over Oklahoma, earning its first victory since Sept. 11 after a difficult stretch in front of goal. Freshman Emerson Moore scored twice in the first half, and Cora Fry added a goal in the second half, assisted by Ines Derrien; Oklahoma’s Sophie Morrin scored the Sooners’ lone goal. The result ended Tennessee’s SEC schedule, but the Lady Vols had already been eliminated from the SEC Tournament before the match. Tennessee will await the NCAA Tournament selection outcome.
