Tennessee Coach William Inge Discharged, Begins Rehab
Tennessee linebackers coach William Inge has been released from the hospital after a serious, undisclosed illness and has begun rehabilitation. Inge said he is getting stronger and thanked medical staff, his family, the Tennessee football program and fans for their support. He had been hospitalized since mid-September and missed the Volunteers’ last four games. Coach Josh Heupel described Inge’s recovery as a remarkable turnaround; Inge said he plans to cheer on Tennessee as it faces Alabama this weekend.
