Texas Roadhouse plans first Hattiesburg restaurant opening

Texas Roadhouse is set to open its first Hattiesburg, Mississippi, restaurant on Dec. 7, ending residents’ need to travel about 60 miles for the chain. The 8,000-square-foot location is expected to create hundreds of jobs. LongHorn Steakhouse is also expanding, with a Pueblo, Colorado, location scheduled to open Nov. 2, offering dine-in and curbside pickup. In Houston, Denver-based A5 Steakhouse is planning a downtown location in the Texas Tower, with construction expected to finish by May 2027 and an opening anticipated the following spring.
