Texas Veteran Job Fairs Connect Job Seekers Statewide

Texas’s 15th annual Hiring Red, White & You! initiative is connecting veterans, transitioning service members, military families and other job seekers with employers through free career fairs across the state. North Central Texas events in Cleburne and Allen list more than 4,900 openings across 170 employer listings, spanning public safety, skilled trades, health care, education, business and technology. In Texarkana, the fair offers veterans and dependents an early attendance period before opening to the public, while a recent Concho Valley event drew more than 160 job seekers and about 60 employers. A Lubbock fair is scheduled for Nov. 10, with employers recruiting for roles from entry-level to specialized and licensed positions. Organizers say the events help veterans translate military experience into civilian careers and help regional employers reach qualified candidates.
