Wesleyan and Tuskegee draw thousands to family weekend events

Universities across the country welcomed students’ families and alumni to campus for weekend celebrations Oct. 16–18, 2026. Wesleyan hosted more than 2,000 guests for athletics, lectures, exhibits and gatherings, including a discussion of its Center for Prison Education and an address by President Michael Roth. The University of Arkansas at Fort Smith drew nearly 400 attendees for activities such as a 5K, Fall Fest, chili cookoff and basketball showcase. Tuskegee welcomed nearly 1,800 people under the theme “The Magic of Tuskegee,” featuring campus programs and an internship showcase alongside President Mark A. Brown’s emphasis on academic achievement and hard work. Syracuse families and supporters reconnected with students through campus tours, school programs and a football game against Louisville.
