Three South Dakota Teams Unanimous No. 1s in Final Poll

South Dakota’s final 2026 high school football polls named Sioux Falls Jefferson, Pierre and Sioux Falls Christian unanimous No. 1 teams in Classes 11AAA, 11AA and 11A, respectively, with each finishing the regular season 9-0. The final media poll ranked Jefferson, Lincoln, Brandon Valley, Harrisburg and O’Gorman as the 11AAA top five. Pierre led 11AA, followed by Yankton, Watertown, Tea Area and Sturgis; in 11A, Sioux Falls Christian and Lennox held the top two spots, with West Central, Canton and Dell Rapids rounding out the rankings. A separate South Dakota Power 5 poll also gave Jefferson, Pierre and Sioux Falls Christian all available first-place votes, though its 11AA and 11A rankings differed in several positions. The polls marked the end of rankings for the larger divisions, with the teams moving into the state playoffs.
