Hyundai Hits Guardrails Then Struck on Maine Turnpike, Driver Critical
A late-Saturday crash on the southbound Maine Turnpike in Falmouth left 24-year-old Devon Thomas of Vassalboro critically injured. State police say his Hyundai struck several guardrails and stopped in the roadway, where it was hit by vehicles driven by Pruxelles Mujinga of Portland and Madeleine Camaran-Moyers of Lewiston. All three drivers were taken to Maine Medical Center, and traffic was diverted at Exit 63 while emergency crews responded. State police are investigating with assistance from a reconstruction team and local police departments.
