Ting Fiber plans Colorado Springs lease transfer

Tucows’ Ting Fiber has agreed to transfer its dark-fiber lease on Colorado Springs Utilities’ network to Google Fiber Colorado, as part of Tucows’ ongoing strategic review of its Ting business. The transfer is expected to close March 31, 2027, subject to customary conditions, and Tucows expects its related parent guaranty to end by late April after post-closing obligations are met. Ting will continue serving customers during the transition, which is expected to finish by June 30, 2027; customers do not need to take immediate action and will be notified before any service changes.
