Top Programs Plan Major Recruiting Weekends

Ohio State is treating its game against Oregon as a major recruiting opportunity, with 2027 and 2028 prospects expected on campus. Among the visitors is four-star running back Daylon Gordon, a Texas State commit whom the Buckeyes are pursuing as a flip target; his rushing and receiving production makes him an appealing fit for the offense. Another 2027 flip target committed to an SEC school was added to the visitor list, while Ohio State is also expected to host top prospects including five-star recruit DJ Jacobs. The weekend is part of a broader slate of high-profile recruiting visits across the country.
