American Airlines has rolled out its first retrofitted Boeing 777-300ER with the Flagship Suite, expanding premium seating to 144 seats and eliminating international first class to attract high-spending travelers, including 70 Flagship Suite seats, 44 Premium Economy, and 30 Main Cabin Extra. The program, part of Project Olympus, will retrofit all 20 aircraft and extend the two-tier premium layout across long-haul routes such as London, Tokyo, São Paulo, Buenos Aires, and Sydney, while phasing out Flagship First on many flights and integrating broader services like Wi‑Fi and enhanced lounges.
